About BellCam

BellCam shows live images of Belltall (Catalonia, Spain) and gives local weather conditions. It has three sections:

The first one, Càmera, presents the views captured by a videocamera. Vista actual is a snapshot which is renewed every 5 minutes. Càmera en línia allows to follow the action of the camera, to change its point of view and images resolution (often you can also hear the sound of the scene).

The second section, Méteo, shows the values recorded by a meteorological station. Temps actual shows a group of these values that is updated every 3 minutes; Resum numèric is a summary of the situation. Últimes 48 hores, Últims 6 dies and Mes a mes show the evolution of the weather during these periods.

Finally, the third section, Cel, shows a graphic of the firmament and the hours of Sun and Moon at Belltall, together with the Moon phase.

BellCam is member of the networks of weather stations Meteoclimatic, Awekas and Weather Underground. It is also member of the webcams networks EarthCam, Webcams.travel, Hispacams and Meteowebcam.

The technology behind BellCam is: camera Panasonic BB-HCM531, meteorological station Davis Vantage Pro2+, data server ALX3 with system MeteoHub, public software for astronomical computations and Apple Macintosh computer with several tools.
